Skip Bin Service

Are you an industrial or commercial site needing to get rid of your mountain of unwanted scrap? Let us take care of it.

We'll drop off a free skip bin and pick it up when it's full.

Truck Pick Up

Got something too big to drop off? We'll send one of our trucks to pick it up for you.

We have fully-equipped grab trucks available so we can help everyone from demolition sites, to individual pick ups.

Alexander Scrap Metals is a tidy family-owned scrap metal yard located in Silverdale, Auckland.

What we recycle:

We collect both ferrous and non-ferrous metals: copper, brass, aluminium, steel, stainless steel, batteries, cable, lead, whiteware, machinery, electric motors, roofing iron, car removal and whiteware appliances.

Meet the Owners

Alexander Scrap Metals is a long standing family business that has been buying and recycling metal since 1987. Today the Silverdale yard is owned and operated by Hugh Milliken and Brendan Robbers. Hugh is the nephew of the original owner and after working together with Brendan in the company for 15 years, they took over the business and have successfully operated it for the past 5 years.
